WasteHero, a Denmark-based provider of waste collection software, is pleased to announce the official opening of its new office in Nottingham, England.
Andrew Crofts, previously Operations Manager at Nottingham City Council, is heading up the UK division as Managing Director.
“I’m looking forward to starting to work with some real-time data software that can actually help solve the challenges in municipal waste and realise some savings for the local authorities. I’m also eager to start rolling out some big projects that can make a huge difference to the citizens that occupy these spaces.”
The Nottingham office serves as WasteHero’s UK sales center. CEO and Founder, Hussam Mansour, says the opening of the new office was a natural next step for WasteHero.
“In the past two years, WasteHero has seen increased project activities in the UK, which has naturally led to the opening of our UK office. The physical office represents WasteHero’s commitment to bringing sustainable waste management solutions to local authorities and private haulers in the UK.”
WasteHero to Attend APSE’s Annual Seminar in Swansea, Wales
WasteHero will be attending the Association for Public Service Excellence’s (APSE) Annual Seminar from 14-15 of September 2022 in Swansea, Wales. The topic of the seminar is Local Government: The Green Machine at the Frontline.
WasteHero is also excited to announce its sponsorship of the Overall Council of the Year award at APSE’s Annual Service Awards. The awards celebrate excellence in local public services and recognise the effort and dedication of vital frontline services.
The winners will be announced at the APSE Annual Charity Awards Dinner, in aid of Parkinson’s UK, on Thursday 15 September 2022 at the Swansea Arena.
WasteHero looks forward to expanding its activity in the UK and welcomes any introductory meetings with local authorities interested in WasteHero’s solution.
